I graduated university in 2014 studying computer security and forensics, after a couple months I volunteered doing desktop support since i needed experience to get a real job. After 6 months volunteering, I was offered a helpdesk job which i was pleased with at the time. fast forward a year later I got a job offer to be an Infrastructure engineer. I believe i am being paid below market rate for this new role so I plan to get some certifications then leave in 6months to a year.
My question to you is, what are your thoughts on IT professionals who change jobs every few months to a year? is it frowned upon or does it demonstrate motivation?
